Tracey Yager was born on Norfolk Island in 1966 and is descended from Bounty mutineer Matthew Quintal. Tracey worked in Graphic Design in London, Australia and Norfolk Island before moving to Noosa Heads, Australia where she worked as a self-employed artist for 7 years. In 1997 Tracey returned to live on Norfolk Island where she established Gallery Guava art gallery with Sue Draper. The offer to paint the Cyclorama came shortly after. Since working in acrylics for that project she now includes them in her favoured mediums along with watercolours. Tracey has held numerous solo exhibitions, won art awards in Australia and Norfolk Island has illustrated a number of children’s books.

Meet The Artists
Sue Draper was born in Melbourne in 1957. After a correspondence Art course in her teens, she studied Interior Design at Melbourne College of Design & Decoration. Sue has worked in many fields of Interior Design including commercial and domestic interiors, set dressing and props for television, and magazine journalism. In her late 20’s she moved to Noosa Heads, Queensland, where she lived for 14 years.
A holiday to Norfolk Island prompted her to move there in 1997 for a career change to work as a full-time artist. The cyclorama project extended her stay and Sue is now a permanent resident of the island, where she continues to operate Gallery Guava and work as an artist. Sue works in a variety of mediums, her favoured being pastel or acrylic. She has designed stamps for Norfolk Island.
Glenn Douran was born in New Zealand and trained there as a Graphic Designer. Glenn lived on Norfolk Island for 11 years before moving to Brisbane, she returned to Norfolk Island for a month to help create the Cyclorama. Glenn is a portrait specialist and worked from old photographs of the Pitcairn Islanders to bring them to life in the painting.
Rick Robertson is a Pitcairn descendant and grew up on Norfolk Island. He studied music at the Sydney Conservatorium and is now a professional jazz musician based in Sydney. Rick composed the Cyclorama soundtrack weaving together sound effects, music and old hymns to create an evocative & atmospheric soundscape to the painting.
